International Flights to Costa Rica’s Airports
The two international airports in Costa Rica are the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in Alajuela, San Jose and Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Guanacaste.
Costa Rica Transportation to Nosara: Domestic Flights or Scenic Drive
From within Costa Rica, there are different options to get to Nosara for every budget.

Domestic flights to Nosara must be booked directly through the domestic airline website (Sansa or Aerobell).
If you are adventurous, the scenic drive is well worth it!
However the mostly unpaved, bumpy dirt road conditions in Guanacaste require a 4WD vehicle, especially in the rainy season (May - November) when you may have to cross a few rivers to get here.

FLIGHTS TO COSTA RICA
Getting Here: Costa Rica
Flights to LIR are usually more expensive in comparison to SJO, but you’ll get straight to Guanacaste and be much closer to Nosara. However, SJO is a great starting point if you are exploring more of Costa Rica outside of the Guanacaste area.
